The entity that has hidden in the shadows, collecting, listening, creating, existing, not merely as an afterthought but a glimpse of the possibilities for what’s to come. Planting seeds, nurturing the song inside my soul…yea, yea actually it’s the name I gave my demo collection for the songs Day Music Died correctly avoided throughout the years.
I’ve decided that with a lot of help from my friends (especially the guys from DMD), it was time for these songs to see the light of day. Without those that partook in this adventure spanning 15 plus years, nothing would be possible.
Each song is a stepping stone for the progress of song writing, a soundtrack to a moment of vulnerability in my life, be it emotional, physical or just plain ignorant. But pieces of me none the less.
Some songs are better than others. Some songs are thoughts. Some songs are just that, songs. Yet each one is a window into the progress or digression (the opinion is yours to make) of my musical journey.
Please listen with your ears, your souls, but most importantly with your hearts and come with me into tomorrow, into this new and exciting path we walk together.
